Frequently Asked Questions

What is the ideal timeline for booking bridal hair services?

I recommend booking your bridal hair services as soon as you have a confirmed wedding date. This allows us to secure your preferred date and ensures ample time for consultations, trials, and necessary preparations to create your dream hairstyle. However, I understand that sometimes plans change, so feel free to reach out to me regardless of your timeline, and I will do my best to accommodate your needs.

When should I book my trial?

The trial run is recommended 2-3 months prior to the wedding day, we will discuss style choices for yourself and your bridesmaids, if you are indecisive about your chosen look we will look at Pinterest and work out a style to suit your wedding theme, your dress and a style that reflects your personality, a hairstyle which is a better version of you.

2.5 – 3 hours are allowed for the trial session and these are carried out at The Studio located in Tollesbury, Essex in a delightful rural setting within a relaxed atmosphere.

Can you accommodate large bridal parties?

Absolutely! I am experienced in working with bridal parties of all sizes, whether it’s just the bride or a large group of bridesmaids, family members, and friends. I have a team of skilled hairstylists who can efficiently cater to multiple clients, ensuring everyone receives the attention they deserve while adhering to your wedding day timeline.

What should I expect on the wedding day in terms of the hairstyling process?

On your wedding day, myself and my team (if a large booking) will arrive at your chosen location fully prepared with all the necessary tools and products. I will recreate the hairstyle discussed and perfected during your trial, ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly. I allow ample time for styling each person, taking into account your desired look and the number of individuals requiring hairstyling. My goal is to create a calm and relaxed environment so you can enjoy the process and feel pampered on your special day.

Do you supply hair jewellery and veils?

I stock a selection of veils from www.sashandveil.co.uk which can be tried out at the hair trial to compliment your wedding hairstyle, I highly recommend this service as it gives brides to be the opportunity to see their finished look and to help them to decide whether to opt to have a veil even if they are quite indecisive, these beautiful handmade veils can be made to your exact requirement and can also be colour matched if required.

The ‘Gemma’  veil is a great alternative to the traditional veil which allows brides to wear a veil without hiding their hairstyle.

Can you travel to the wedding venue or getting ready location?

Yes, I provide on-location services and can travel to your wedding venue or getting ready location. I understand the importance of convenience and creating a relaxed atmosphere on your wedding day. Please let me know the location details during the booking process, so I can advise of any travel expenses that will be due.

Can you recommend hairstyles that complement my face shape and wedding dress?

Absolutely! I have extensive experience in creating hairstyles that complement different face shapes and wedding dress styles. During the consultation and trial, we will take into consideration your face shape, dress neckline, and personal preferences to recommend hairstyles that enhance your natural beauty and suit your overall bridal look.

What happens if I change my mind about the hairstyle after the trial?

I understand that sometimes preferences may change after the trial. If you decide to change your hairstyle or make adjustments, please inform me as soon as possible. We can schedule another trial or have a detailed discussion to ensure I create the perfect hairstyle that aligns with your vision.
